Cooking with the Stars is a wrap!
Perspectives has been blessed with so many culinary superstars that have come through our Cargill Kids Cafe. Each year, our Cooking with the Stars event features some of the brightest stars in the culinary universe.
Perspectives was not the only ones to take note of our talented chefs. In 2019, Jamie Malone, Ann Kim and Christina Nguyen were each nominated by the James Beard Foundation for "Best Chef: Midwest." They are so hot, that even Vogue Magazine has taken notice. Ann Ahmed is on the verge of celebrating her one-year anniversary of her second restaurant, Lat14, and Soile Anderson and the Chowgirls continue to shine as leaders in the local culinary community.

In 2020 the culinary fun will continue with a new lineup and new cuisine to experience. The Cooking with the Stars: 2020 lineup will include:
Tim McKee, Minnesota’s first chef to ever win the James Beard Award, Best Chef: Midwest by the James Beard Foundation, mastermind behind La Belle Vie and now Octo Fishbar.
Diane Moua, Outstanding Pastry Chef: James Beard Foundation Nominee, Spoon & Stable & Bellecour.
Alex Roberts, James Beard Award Winner, Best Chef: Midwest Restaurant Alma & Brasa Premium Rotisserie.
Thomas Boemer, Best Chef: Midwest James Beard Foundation Nominee, Corner Table, Revival Restaurants and now In Bloom!
Jack Riebel, Nominated Best New Restaurant: James Beard Foundation, Butcher & the Boar, Il Foro, Half-Time Rec, and now The Lexington.
Matt Leverty, Executive Chef Tulibee Restaurant & Bar at The Hewing.
The only way to be part of the Cooking with the Stars: 2020 action is to bid at the live auction on October 25, at the Party for Hope Gala at the View at Minneapolis Event Centers.
A limited number of individual seats are now available.
